⏱ YPP Pace

Will you make YPP before the rules change on Feb 1, 2027?

From February 1, 2027, new YouTube Partner Program applicants need 8,000 qualified watch hours (last 365 days) or 20M qualified Shorts views (last 90 days), plus 1,000 subscribers. Today it's 4,000 hours or 10M Shorts views. Source: YouTube Official Blog.

– days left until Feb 1, 2027
– days left to the practical apply-by date (Dec 31, 2026)

YouTube says review "typically" takes about 1 month (YouTube Help), so we suggest applying by Dec 31. That date is our estimate, not an official YouTube deadline. YouTube hasn't said how applications still in review on Feb 1 will be handled.

How it works: watch hours and Shorts views use a rolling window. Daily pace stays steady, and older views or hours roll off evenly. Subscribers grow from the monthly gain you enter, with no roll-off. It's an estimate, not a guarantee; YouTube also reviews channels against its policies. The current 1,000-subscriber and 4,000-hour / 10M Shorts bars are from YouTube Help. The Feb 1, 2027 bars and the earlier fan-funding tier are from the changes page.
